Legal Services for Debtors
I have been working in debtor-creditor law for over 15 years. As a bankruptcy and debt relief attorney, I offer debt discharge through bankruptcy and other legal services to help consumers and small businesses overcome debt:
Chapter 7 bankruptcy: Chapter 7 business and personal bankruptcy allows people and companies to extinguish most or all of their debts.
Chapter 13 bankruptcy: Chapter 13 is often called the "wage earner plan" because it allows individuals the chance to consolidate and repay their debts at a reduced interest rate over 3-5 years under a plan approved by the bankruptcy court. Based on your ability to pay, you may not have to repay all of your debts.
Home foreclosure defense: Individuals and families who are facing foreclosure do have options. I offer foreclosure defense services from start to finish.
Debt collection defense: There are many laws that protect consumers from the bad practices of collection agencies, lenders and other businesses. Bankruptcy is an option that is not always necessary. If you owe money and are facing creditor harassment, or if your debt is because of fraud, I may be able to help you.
